The Wonderful World of Will (Years 3-6)

Strap yourself in for a rollercoaster ride through Shakespeare’s world. At hilarious, breakneck speed, we’ll meet iconic characters, see famous scenes and learn about favourite conventions. Students will enter the world that Shakespeare wrote in, and recite famous lines and poetry. Most of all, students will learn why, 400 years later, we are still performing his incredible stories. An interactive and lively show for upper primary.

Shakespeare Is Dead (Years 7-9)

It’s been 400 years since Shakespeare’s death – why are we still performing his plays? We chart through iconic characters, scenes, plot devices, language techniques, the dreaded iambic pentameter and key information about the world of William Shakespeare. A provocative and lively introduction to Shakespeare for junior secondary.

Romeo And Juliet: Rewind (Years 7-9)

Witness the greatest love story ever told, like never before. In this illuminating and heart-rending show, The Players flip the journey of the star-crossed lovers, from tragic consequence through to first love. In a new interactive format, students will question choices made, infer different possibilities, and test the age-old question – can we fight our fate?

Macbeth: The Rehearsal (Years 9-11)

Three actors, one rehearsal room, and the cursed Scottish play. Become a fly on the wall in this show that celebrates theatre making and the imagination, as we play and replay famous scenes and soliloquies. Modelled on real rehearsal room techniques, Macbeth is deconstructed then brought to life with the help of the audience, challenging the play from every angle.
