Infinite Space: Our Future

Be a part of Bell Shakespeare’s future and open a world of possibility for people across Australia.

In 2022, for the first time in our Company’s history, Bell Shakespeare is now housed in a permanent headquarters at Pier 2/3; a carefully re-purposed, heritage-listed finger wharf in the heart of Sydney’s Walsh Bay Arts Precinct.

The Infinite Space campaign was launched in 2017, timed to help us fund our purpose built new premises while also building a future fund for Bell Shakespeare. We want to ensure John Bell’s original vision endures: to share Shakespeare with Australians everywhere, regardless of geographic or other circumstances.

At Pier 2/3, our Company now has the unprecedented freedom to collaborate, experiment and create new work to perform on stages and in schools across Australia. In addition, we are throwing open our doors to the community to enrich more lives than ever before through expanded education and outreach programs.

To achieve our vision now, and in the future, we need help from our friends. We invite donors, patrons and businesses who understand and share our passion for Shakespeare’s work, and its ability to unify and inspire, to join us. Together we can build a future for Bell Shakespeare where the possibilities are infinite.

We are delighted to invite you to be part of our new home by naming a seat in The Neilson Nutshell or by naming a Seedling in The Seed. We encourage you to celebrate a memory, a milestone, or someone you love.
