John Bell Scholarship

Play your part in giving regional students
life changing opportunities

Nurturing new talent has been central to John Bell’s vision since he founded Bell Shakespeare in 1990. To honour his extraordinary legacy and impact on the arts in Australia, we are proud to announce our regional student scholarships programme in his name.

The John Bell Scholarship programme finds talented young people from all across Australia and give them unprecedented access to Bell Shakespeare, kick-starting their arts career, and continue our vision to truly represent all Australians on stage.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, we were able to audition 179 students in 2016, and three winners were chosen.
