End Of Financial Year Campaign: The Players
At Bell Shakespeare, we believe that Australia is our stage, particularly when it comes to our work with students and teachers.
It is our strong belief that Shakespeare’s works in performance engage with and inspire young people in a unique and invaluable way. Students find connections with Shakespeare’s timeless stories and characters, the relevance of which only seem to become clearer in our world as time goes by!
However, access to live performance is limited for so many schools, especially in regional Australia.
That’s why our In-Schools Performance program presented by The Players is critical.
Since 1991 The Players have travelled Australia, visiting schools in every state and territory. They perform original 50-minute interactive plays that make Shakespeare’s work fun and relatable, demystifying the language with modern commentary, masterful acting and unlimited imagination.
The Players enrich students’ learning and open their minds
to what’s possible. But as you can imagine, delivering this important program comes at a cost.
Help us to inspire young people. Gifts, no matter how large or small, will help us to visit schools right across Australia and to share our work with even more students who wouldn’t normally have the opportunity. If you can, please support The Players.
