Building Bell Shakespeare’s future
For the first time in our Company’s history, Bell Shakespeare has the opportunity to establish a permanent headquarters. In 2019, we will move to Pier 2/3, carefully re-purposing a heritage-listed finger wharf in the heart of the Walsh Bay arts precinct.
While preserving and celebrating the past, our Company will have the security to plan for the future. We’ll have unprecedented freedom to collaborate, experiment and take our work to stages and schools across Australia. The building will be accessible, allowing us to throw open our doors to the community and enrich more lives than ever before through expanded education and outreach programmes on-site.
To achieve this vision, we need help from our friends. We’re looking for donors who understand the potential of Shakespeare’s work to unify and inspire. And we’re reaching out to donors, patrons and businesses who share our passion too. Together, we can build a future for Bell Shakespeare where the possibilities are infinite.
We are also delighted to share this short film that explains more about our exciting vision for the Company’s future.
