In 2016 we launched Sharing Shakespeare to schools across Australia. A specialised programme built to accommodate the needs of remote, regional and disadvantaged schools, Sharing Shakespeare offers partial and complete subsidies to schools and communities through our Players, Student Masterclass and Mainstage Performance programs.
Schools that may be eligible for a Sharing Shakespeare subsidy experience one or more of the following:
– Physical remoteness
– Socioeconomic disadvantage
– Social or nature-based issues (drought, bushfire, unemployment, etc)
If this sounds like your school or community, apply now to be considered for subsidy in 2018.
We are also developing networks between schools, teachers and community groups in regional areas. If you are part of a network of schools, apply together and enhance your subsidy value.
