MACBETH

  • INFO

    BY William Shakespeare

    DIRECTED BY Peter Evans

With Kate Mulvany and Dan Spielman

The Macbeths are the picture of privileged nobility – happy, successful, going places. Then Macbeth happens upon three witches who predict he will soon be King – a prophecy he distrusts but which his wife becomes utterly seduced by.

Peter evans fulfills a long awaited ambition to collaborate with Dan Spielman in the title role and Kate Mulvany who plays his wife. This season’s Macbeth reveals what the lure of power can do to a man, and the devastation it can wreak on a marriage and a nation.

    Season runs 30 Mar – 23 Jun 2011
(all matiness with school prices are on Wednesdays).

    Suitable for Years 9 – 12.

    EVENING PERFORMANCES vs MATINEE PRICES
Introducing students to the magic of theatre at night is a fantastic learning experience, however they’ll have to pay evening prices. If you do want to make a school booking for an evening performance, visit bellshakespeare.com.au for dates and venues.

Tickets for evening performances can only be booked through the venue box office, not through Bell Shakespeare. Please contact the venues directly for prices and availability. Please note that schools booking evening performance tickets will be held to the venue’s booking terms and conditions.
